  37. Catch 22.  I had to do the tutorial before I realized how easy it is to
  38. make.  The object I made still doesn't look right....it has splotchy bits
  39. as if there WERE some fractal noise boosting luminance, and I'm only
  40. applying Grid.  Besides, it seems to me scale might be a critical factor
  41. with the object (texture params?) and the size of the object was not 
  42. given in the article.

  44. Anyway, this is moot, since I claimed originally that Newtek didn't supply
  45. 3.5 SA users with the Tutorial dir - they did, indeed.  But, it was
  46. supplied on a bad disk and Install skipped it and the Games objects dir,
  47. too.  So, in order to deflect blame from myself (I believe this is one of
  48. Homer's prime dictums of life, as told to Bart), I'm wondering if other
  49. Amiga 3.5 SA users had problems with bad disks in their distribution. My
  50. friend, who also has Amiga 3.5 SA, had the exact same problem and had to
  51. get Newtek to replace it.  I hope Amiga 3.5 SA users will get a CD-rom
  52. distribution like others, because if I have to depend on Newtek to send me
  53. forty-seven thousand error-free floppy disks, I'm worried.
